Aquaman is a fictional character from the DC Comics universe. He had first appeared in More Fun Comics #73 in 1941, and had eventually got his own book. Not only this, but the character also appeared in the Justice League, DC cartoons like Super Friends, and in video games like Injustice: Gods Among Us.

He is the king of Atlantis, the sunken city inhabited by people with gills. Most people know him with short blonde hair, but he has had other interpretations like when he had a mullet in the 90's and the period of time when his hand was torn off by Black Manta, forcing him to live with a harpoon on his hand. His primary ability is to telepathically talk to fish and other marine life. He is also very strong from staying at such deep depths of the ocean, and is proficient with Atlantean martial arts. He has had a sidekick named Aqualad who would later grow up to become Tempest, and an infant child who was murdered by Black Manta.

In M.U.G.E.N, Aquaman has been created twice, once by Zvitor and once by Erradicator. Erradicator's version uses Justice League Task Force sprites and an MvC style of gameplay, while Zvitor's uses coding from Splode's Rikuo. Template:-

Erradicator's versionEdit

Using sprites from the Sega Genesis version of Justice League Task Force, this interpretation of Arthur Curry is during his mullet faze, but before his hand was lost. It doesn't play like the game the sprites are from, instead playing a bit like Marvel.

Zvitor's versionEdit

Using a suped up DC vs. Marvel template, Zvitor's ruler of the sea washes on shore resembling Aquaman's hook handed, long haired appearance. Fans of Vampire Savior will notice the gameplay's resemblance to a certain aquatic Darkstalker.
