Xenophage is a specie of alien that appeared in three issues of the mini series: Venom The Hunted as an entire representative of an alien specie. What the Xenophage particularly like to eat is the brain of a symbiote's host, which will have a considerable increase in dopamine levels within the substantia nigra part of the brain. The longer the host has been bonded with a symbiote, the higher these levels, and the more delicious they will be for the Xenophage. A person like Eddie Brock would therefore be the finest and rarest of delicacies given the amount of time he hosted the Venom symbiote.

In M.U.G.E.N, Xenophage has been made twice, both by an author by the name Farengeit & predatorsru .

Gameplay (old version)[]

Xenophage is a major edit to Final, as you can see by the sprite above. He has missing sounds, but uses some of Finals sounds. He has a wide selection of moves available to the player, unlike most boss characters made for Mugen. Another thing to note, is that unlike most boss characters, he can block attacks, though he can't jump or duck. An overall decent character. Strangely, the characters files are named 'xenon_edit'.

Gameplay (new version)[]

This version is considerably better than the old version. His sprites now closer match his comic book appearance, has more animations and alternate palettes, as well as a new and improved intro. This version, unlike the old one, has a cleaner portrait and cannot be grabbed, making it more boss-like, even though it has 1000 health. One flaw is that he is still missing many sounds.

Trivia[]

  • If you press any of the arrow keys before starting as Xenophage, you can swap his palettes. This only works in the new version.
